Smudging + Cleansing

Smudging, or cleansing, is the ancient ritual of eliminating negative energy from your being or your space to allow an opening for positive energy to emerge. Smudging occurs by using smoke from a burning bundle of sacred herbs and flowers, a stick of palo santo, or spraying a composed mist.

Cleansing can be done doing the same as above or by using selenite. Selenite is a natural cleanser for crystals, bringing them back to their powerful, most natural, intended state. Crystals like black tourmaline, that absorb negative energy, can become blocked after being used, dissipating their power. Simply place your objects on or touching selenite. The more contact a crystal has with the Selenite, the faster and more thoroughly it will be cleansed.
